The eyes of truthThe Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) was opened for signature in September 1996. In March 1997, the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization started work in Vienna. This film depicts the Commission's activities in establishing the Treaty's verification regime to verify adherence to the global ban on nuclear explosions. It presents the challenging work at some monitoring facilities in Argentina, Australia, Germany, New Zealand and South Africa, and at the International Data Centre in Vienna, where the data generated by the facilities are received, processed and analysed.
